Here is a portrait from the Burton Cotton Gin Festival. This is a local blacksmith artist that has been showcasing his work for many years at the festival. It is a pleasure to watch him work as he creates fabulous metal work with nothing more then his hand tools and a classic furnace kept hot by a hand crank. It is a step back in time when hand made meant something. If you are local to Burton and know this man please let me know so I can add his name to this post.
