Small Thanks - Kitrell, TX

I hope you all are enjoying a nice thanksgiving weekend. As you celebrate remember that we can be thankful for even the small things. I was reminded of this when visiting Kitrell Texas last Sunday where some family got together at this small community center which used to be a small baptist church. We all gathered to simply give thanks for what we have been given. Family and friend s from all over showed up with wonderful food and we ate and talked and watched the kids play in the newly fallen leaves outside. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

  1. Very nice images... both the church and the family/friend grouping. I'm visiting blogs while the soup kettle is bubbling away with turkey stock! (Wireless remotes work well for getting in the photo but I suspect you know that!) You might enjoy seeing one of my recent posts (different from my usual macro or landscape images) from a pre-Thanksgiving dinner party at a friend's house: http://photoaddictshowcase.blogspot.com/2010/11/life-well-lived-portrait-of-great-lady.html
