2010 World Series - Arlington, TX

Thanks to my brother I was able to secure two extra tickets to Game 5 of the 2010 World Series and what an experience it was. While the Rangers lost it was great to be able to say I was there when the Giants won the World Series in 2010. Just before the game began and as Charlie Pride began to sing the National Anthem the sky lit up with a beautiful sunset. The fading daylight and beautiful colors in the clouds were the perfect beginning to this night. While the composition is not that great from this photo I tried to make the best from my seats in the stands. I made this photo by shooting 2 three exposure HDRs at 15mm and then stacking them vertically. It was the only way I could get both the field and the sky in the same photo. This is the opposite of a panorama and is sometimes called a vertorama. This photo will probably end up being nothing more then a personal memento for me and will most likely end up as the backdrop in the frame with my ticket.
