Red Poppies - Georgetown, TX

The Red Poppy Festival is held each spring in Georgetown Texas as their adopted flower begins to bloom across the city. These poppies were found in an abandoned lot a block a way from the square in downtown. This festival is a celebration of the city and all the great things it has to offer. It will be a great event for the whole family and if you have the chance come out and have some fun with us, and don't forget to stop by the Framers Gallery where I will be hosting a reception to announce the release of 6 new original works that will be going on sale. Come in and enjoy some snacks and a cold beverage as you partake in all the fun of the Red Poppy Festival.

  2. I love red poppies - especially the contrast with the gray sky!

  3. Nice contrast of color -warm/cool- and sharp definition of flowers with blurry trees then more defined clouds even further in the background does something special.
