Early Morning at the Swimming Hole - Georgetown, TX

Sorry for not posting in a while. I think this was the longest hiatus to date. I was however busy taking photos I just did not have any Internet access where I was. Be on the look out for a bunch of new photos coming soon from some beautiful places in northeast Arkansas ans Southwest Missouri. I spent a long weekend out there with family and managed to capture some wonderful photos. So until then I will keep it local with this new photo of a place in Georgetown called Blue Hole. It is a little slice of heaven right outside downtown Georgetown. If you get there early the deer will lift their heads from their morning graze to see who has come to visit and the birds will greet you with beautiful welcoming tones as you walk the banks of the peaceful pool on the San Gabriel River. By Early afternoon the sounds of nature are replaced by the sounds of people milling around and kids splashing in the water as they escape the Texas heat. If you visit Georgetown be sure to leave enough time in your trip to swing by Blue Hole.
