Well the last two weeks I decided to go back to my roots per say. As I mentioned in my very first blog entry I learned most of what I know today by jumping straight into one of the most difficult photography genres “sports.” I decided I was going to continue to shoot sports if nothing else to keep my skills sharp, it also doesn’t hurt that I get paid to do it. J I also will break my normal one picture a day to include a few shots from the last game I photographed. It was nice being back on the floor chasing the action and getting 1 decent shot forever 50 you shoot. Many people hate shooting sports simply due to the trashcan to keeper ratio. I can remember shooting 400 frames at games and going through every single one only to trash all but 25 right off the bat. Out of those 25 it is narrowed down to another 5-8 and then the sports editor gets really picky and picks just one of those. Check out the Round Rock Leaders latest editions to see which ones the editors picked from Tuesday’s basketball playoff game between the McNeil and Cy-Springs. Did you guess right?
